It is indeed Photoshop CS4! I am desperately jealous of everyone who is able to use SAI and openCanvas as it is not possible on a mac, and PS is shite for inking.

Brushes are usually a plain old round/square brush at different opacities; flow is at 80%, and watercolour mode is on. Hope that is of some use! It is possible to also make your own by scribbling onto a smallish canvas and then fiddling around with smudge/opacity. Sometimes good things come of it.

(I was a fool and managed to delete the answer to twinklefish’s question whilst trying to edit it. Sorry! Here goes again.)

Have not drawn for so long am not sure what drawing is. What is this wacom tablet thing? Can you eat food off it?  Too-many-exams stress relief scribble; 1.5-2h.

Colour/hand study from photo-reference. Should not be painting anything as am in midst of studying furiously for finals. Apologies for not replying to things. Will be better about this replying business post-finals, ergo, mid-march. The original picture is here, and is much lovelier than anything I could hope to paint. (Will remove this post if objections voiced as presently no explicit permission given for using picture for painting study.)
